Community and faith are mutually inclusive and we are always looking at ways to strengthen this relationship further; connecting with the community, whatever their age or stage of faith. For Catholic schools to be effective and successful in the life and mission of the Church there needs to be a relationship with the local parish community and the wider diocesan community.  Members of the community – which involves students, parents, teachers, parishioners and clergy take great pride in their Catholic schools.  We are proud to have the following schools fall under our Parish and are blessed to join with them in a foundational faith partnership.

Little Hearts Playgroup operates in school terms on Tue & Thu, Fri 9am to 11:30am at Sacred Heart Primary School. This free community playgroup is part of the ACT Playgroup Association and offers toddlers and preschool children the opportunity to grow and learn alongside their parents, grandparents or caregivers. Important reminder for Year 6 and Year 10 families

A reminder that families with sons currently in Years 6 and 10 at the College do not need to re-enrol their son into Year 7 or Year 11.

Our expectation is that once a student is enrolled at the College, their enrolment will continue until the completion of their studies in Year 12.

Marist College Youth Sacramental Program 2024

This program is an opportunity for students and their families to deepen their Catholic faith through the reception of the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, First Holy Communion or Confirmation). It is open to students from Years 7 -12 who are considering one or all of these Sacraments. Sisters of these students are welcome to participate in the program and receive the sacraments as a family.

The actual design of the program will be partially dependent on the needs of the candidates, it will involve a mix of twilight sessions for the family and weekly sessions for the students. These will mostly be held here at school. Priests from the local parishes will also be involved in various sessions and families will need to connect with their parish. The Sacraments will be received within each student’s local parish in and around Pentecost on the 19 May.
